If you want to see a bat with his head stuck in a bucket, this is the post for you…

What I have enjoyed most about my trips with the zoom lens to the San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park, is that you never know what you will see if you are patient.

You just need to hang around for a while… and watch the other animals…

I watched this one bat drinking water, and then he started to crawl through the fake trees and wire meshing…

Watching bats move around is fun… they use those weird wing-tip hooks… it is even cooler when they walk on the ground, but I didn’t see that this time.

I did, however, see him stick his head in a food bucket… (hey, I said you could see a bat with his head stuck in a bucket, I didn’t mean it was stuck like he couldn’t get it back out)…

He took some food and started climbing again.

I could have watched him for a long time… but it really stinks in the bat house…

Okay, I still have more animal pictures, but now I also have Father’s Day pictures to share, so we might have to say goodbye to the animals for a while.
