Wizard magic… part 6… (or); it takes magic to make a children’s book…

gad 23 copyAnother finished page… well, except for the text… from my new kid’s book. I am glad I have been able to recycle some of my old watercolor paintings for backgrounds.

gad 1Yes, I am still cutting up the original comic strip that I drew when I was a teenager, and then cleaning them up…

gad 1 aAnd let me tell you, cleaning this little guy up wasn’t easy…

gad 2First of all, he was drawn small… like two-inches tall… and on lined paper. He was never meant to be in the original comic. He is just some little character idea I drew, and I figured I would throw him in to the story. I like his fancy curly shoes.

    I think he’s the guy who keeps his eye on everything. Maybe the wizard invented God.
