Yes, we took a little trip North to the Bay Area… (mostly for Willie’s third birthday, but don’t tell my mom that)…
And I have tons of pictures to share… of the party, and cute babies, and some awesome art I was working on and so forth…
But I am so close to finishing with the pictures of our trip to Europe, that I think I will spend a couple of days wrapping that up first…
We spotted these swans in the alpine lake beside the town below Neuschwanstein castle.
Mollie and I ran around the lake to get closer to them, then followed them back around.
I think Mollie took a lot of these pictures.
And who doesn’t love baby swans???
The parents were very attentive and patient… you know… like good parents are.
Oh yeah, the alps in the background. How beautiful is that?
And look, free bonus ducks thrown in!
Anyway, the next few days will be full of that last day in Europe and our day trip from Munich into the countryside just miles from the Swiss border. I hope you enjoy it.

Notice the swans swimming in the distance…awwww
It is the same swans from the earlier post…
That’s a quote from my past life as a coordinator…there was an art exhibit that was about the Brighton Pavilion of Brighton UK. There was a video that ran in the gallery endlessly “Notice the swans swimming in the distance.” It became a non sequitur comment that a friend and I inserted into conversation (Whenever it felt right). Your Swans reminded me of that. owell. Squirrely enough?
sweeeet!… I do the same thing with “I like monkeys”… actually, now that I think about it… I have a bunch of those.
hehehee. don’t we all? Now I get the “I like Monkeys.”
right… it is just a bunch of stuff kids replied to my comment with,,, and some cute pictures I added,,,

Ugly Ducklings! Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
hey now
Don’t you remember the kids story about the Ugly Duckling. All the there ducklings made fun of him because he was awkward and fuzzy. Then when they grew up he grew into a beautiful swan.
I do remember that… but baby swans are adorable
