Black cabs and Big Ben… which is actually the name of the bell and not the clock or the clock tower… in case you didn’t know that…
I didn’t even notice I was in that picture until just now… I am slipping…
No, that isn’t London bridge… London bridge isn’t in London anymore… or even in England… bonus points if you know where it is now…
Flags… England conquered a large percentage of this world by the clever use of flags… as Eddie Izzard says in his ‘Dressed To Kill’ stand up comedy video… watch it… it is awesome…
Who doesn’t like a man in uniform?
St. Paul’s Cathedral… Every morning during the blitz, Churchill went outside to make sure it was still standing… we did something cool there, so wait for that story.
The Shard… it is really tall…
The river Thames… which is pronounced: ‘Tems’… unless you want to sound like a daft colonial…
The London Eye… well worth the cost and time spent in line… sorry… the British call it a ‘queue’…
The red phone booth… probably the most iconic thing in the UK… except for a blue police call box with a freekin’ Time Lord in it… or a red double-decker bus…

You can even see the calling cards for prostitutes in the phone box!,
Did you go up the Shard? They charge a lot to go to viewing platform but it’s free to go up to the bar on another floor, not as high but great views whilst drinking anyway.
we wanted to, but ran out of time
Oh, yeah. One of my all-time favorite cities and Tower Bridge. If you have time, check out Covent Garden. Worth it. Loving the pictures!
Well, we did see more stuff
You came to England and didn’t come visit me? I thought we were friends. teehee.
I’ve never seen the Queen in person. I had the chance a couple of months ago, but I had an appointment elsewhere. Great photos.
I am bummed I didn’t get to meet people, but it was Mollie’s trip
I don’t know if you follow Ute’s blog (https://utesmile.wordpress.com/) she lives in London, and I have been to meet her. It is great when you meet other bloggers – as you well know. I hope Mollie enjoyed herself
She did… and I will try to make it there, but I have a… thing… try to remind me later… sorry
It’s later … so a reminder
I am still doing the new thing
Oh the new thing
It’s a thing
As opposed to a fing
I love it when English guys say fing instead of thing
Blimey Lad! Well photographed. Would you like a cuppa and a biscuit?
wait for it
Art I think I can see your face on Big Ben?
Leslie
Maybe you will some day
We went to London in March. We had such a great time. I love the city and can’t wait to go back.
me too and me too
The London Bridge is in Arizona, and you took a picture of the Tower Bridge.
Do I win anything?
Damn! I knew it was in Arizona too! I want a prize too!!!!!
I only have so much respect to give… HA!
I bet we are getting BBC sorts of prizes. Since they don’t want to waste the taxpayers’ money, we’ll get a “Good show!”
A ‘jolly good show’
