There she is, my new buddy. I had to get up at four in the morning to drive my youngest daughter to church camp in the mountains East of LA.
On the way home I stopped and made friends with this lovely horse… you know how I am about horses…
Okay, that picture just cracks me up.
I know I go on about how organized religion drives me crazy, so it may surprise you to learn that both my daughters are or were very active in youth leadership in a church.
But this is one of those Christian churches that doesn’t judge people or marginalize people.
As I was leaving, I think my new friend looked a little sad to see me go.
But maybe that was just because of the apple I gave her… who knows?

In regards organization religion Art, I think everyone should not have to worry about their opinions we’re entitled. Shows a good heart though to feel you needed to explain, but no explanations are really needed. Loved the horse!

I love horses and could never have one, due to space and local regulations, so I guess that’s why I agreed to that huge black German Shepherd. He was as big as a Shetland pony. My kids wanted to ride him, but I wouldn’t let them.
