Yes, I know… I am getting carried away with doing too many posts in one day about our second honeymoon on Maui… but I am only doing this many posts when I am not writing funny stories between each picture… so we can get through these…
We were taking a drive one day and saw all of these guys at a little ranch beside the road…
We didn’t know there was so many goats until we walked over to the fence and this goat stampede started towards us in a cloud of dust…
I like goats… I have more pictures of goats coming up later…
Goats are cool… but then we spotted one of Maui’s famous wild pigs. I know, you can barely see it way over there under that palm tree…
Maui was also covered with ducks…
And I saw these baby doves…
And more baby chickens…
And even more baby chickens…
Let me zoom in so you can see the proud mom and dad…
The roosters on Maui are quite busy…
I spotted these three hens talking about that guy…

Awww, what cuties! The baby ones, I mean. I’m sure the hens were checking him out! LOL. 🙂
He was a handsome rooster.
I am really enjoying this Art! YAY!
I am glad.
This set reminds of that show “Roseanne’s Nuts”. She was always trying to get rid of the wild pigs without really getting rid of the wild pigs that did nasty stuff to the rest of her whacky farm.
I have never seen it.
Really? Pretty crazy stuff but it makes me laugh.
I will check it out if I remember
In the fourth picture down, it looks like the goat has a light sabre.
These are not the goats you are looking for…
Those goats are adorable! 🙂
Goats can be…
Isthat sustenance farming or commercial production?
It was not a big operation… more like a house with some animals.
The chickens eat the poison centipedes
do they?
Yes I actually heard that last night on a show.
really
I did, it was a show on buying a place in Hawaii. The guy buying had a centipede crawl up his leg. He said the chickens that were around are kept in part as pest control. They eat them and in part for eggs.
My sister in law found one of those centipedes in her sink while we were there.
AHHH! Glad she didn’t get stung
It freaked her out… she wanted to move.
I can imagine
yup
Wait…sister in law? On your second honeymoon??
They live there. We hung out together some, we didn’t stay with them.
Yes since I wrote that I read your post. Wow they live there…nice!
I would get bored after a year or two.
You would?
yup
well then you would get bored anywhere wouldn’t you?
You might not believe this, since you tend to sort of hide from life, but I would miss the museums and plays and culture…
I would love museums. I don’t hide. I need a washroom every 5 mins. I have to be dehydrated for hours to be able to leave the house
That sounded worse than I meant it… I just mean that I think you could be happy away from people… or something…
Oh well pretty much. I miss our dear friends from my home town.
I am not saying you are a hermit, you just don’t enjoy crowds and cities as much as some people.
Well you have that right! You mean that there are people who do enjoy crowds and cities?
Well, that is where the world-class culture is, to see a live stage play, museums and art galleries, music, fine dining, that sort of thing.
I guess. You would love Toronto too then
I was there once for a very short time, but I’m sure I would.
Oh really?
Hey, I get around.
ha!
yup
I didn’t mean that to sound mean…
