And I have to say I am going to miss him. His face has character… Not good character, but character nonetheless.
But I did at last figure out a completely safe and harmless place to stick Dick, and that is in the cartoon world.

Ah, now we can all rest assured that none of his crazy schemes or outlandish devilments can cause us any further grief. We all know that nothing is ever fatal in the cartoon world.
Dick can frolic and cavort in complete safety, both for himself and for us. He can torture or make war to his heart’s… (the new heart, that is)… delight, and in the end, all his victims will arise from the ashes like Wile E. Coyote, none the worse for the experience.
But wait… He is slipping from my control, oozing over into the world of claymation…
I fear that it is only a matter of time before he is back among us.
