You are driving me crazy with this whole “read my stuff in order from the very beginning. Let’s put it this way:
Choice a. Same readers you currently have. There would never be any new ones, but all of these ones would read your whole blog in order.
Choice b. You’re adding new readers all the time. Your stats grow, but only a few people, the ones who really want to, read it from beginning to current.
Which would you choose? What if you didn’t have to choose either? What if you put a static post (a small one) when people come on to your site. In that post explain that the blog is better if read the way you want it read, but you also have new content frequently. Let people decide on their own. I have gone way back in a lot of my close friends blogs, but it was because I wanted to. My suggestion is that you stop worrying so much about this being read in order, and just enjoy the fact that people are reading it.
Thank you. I need that. You are so right. It’s like I worry that no one will ever see the early stuff. Like they are my babies and no one wants to play with them. I need to get over it. Someone else suggested that static post thing, but I couldn’t figure out how to do it.
