And her best friend. So now we have traveled back in time to early April. I had just found out that my mom had passed away. To cheer me up, my family got me the best birthday present ever. A trail ride!

And we are off on our adventure. The best thing about this day was that no one else signed up so it was just me and a very nice teenage girl as guide.

Also, it was incredibly green and lush because of a very wet winter in San Diego.

Oh yeah.

Seriously, this is as green as the hills of Southern California get.
