The sixties were a scary time. Works for me!
It was s good era in the Bay Area.
Not so nice in Nebraska, looking in. We didn’t really join the revolution, so to speak.
The revolution didn’t seem to take hold anyway.
Christ on a bike…
He was nailed to a bicycle??? I really need to read that book again…
English expression, similar to ‘good lord!’ or ‘OMG’
wouldn’t that be ‘blimey!’
Oh yes, it could be! ‘Blimey’ is more of a common people phrase, Christ on a bike is much more upmarket.
We used to say: Christ on a twisty stick’… or maybe that was only me
… also, no one is more common than me…
Let’s update it… ‘Christ on a bed of lettuce’
I’m liking it – Christ on a bed of lettuce it is! (Blimey, that’s good)
It’s the healthy and humorous choice.
