Back in the day, I had a custom t-shirt business. I never made any money at it. My stuff was all too weird. And I suck at marketing. I was going through the garage and I found this… it is painted on the pocket of a men’s light-blue dress shirt… because this is what you would never wear to a business meeting or a dead show… sigh.
I posted two versions of the photo because I moved a little, the light changed, and I couldn’t decide which was better. I must admit, I like the details… the red eyes, the ripped jeans with the patches, the friendship bracelets. The long hair and cool hat are awesome. I love the mushrooms with sparkles.
I don’t know why he is not wearing a tie dye shirt… and I really don’t remember why I made him topless and then added what looks like some kind of sparkly collar or necklace… but hey… art doesn’t need to be explained… does it?
