On Easter, at my wife’s aunt and uncle’s house, I was playing around with the new camera and the zoom lens…

That is a hummingbird at the very moment that it is taking flight.

And there’s another one.

One of the many woodpeckers.

Who can make their own houses.

A couple of finches.

And a lone finch.

    I can’t wait for the hummingbirds to return. Hopefully I get more of them than bees this year. I also like the woodpecker. I just had a friend pass away, I will think of him with every hummingbird and woodpecker I see. (he gave me my hummingbird feeder, and just last week we watched woodpeckers at the feeder in his back yard)
