It is more or less a creation myth with vaguely religious overtones, so if you are a biblical literalist, it might just piss you off a little. Sorry.
If you are a doubter and a questioner like me, it is just as believable as most of the other creation myths that people have come up with since we first started trying to figure out how we all got here.
Either way, it is just a story, as all myths are when you get right down to it….
