Do not fall for this blog…do not get sucked in by its lies and manipulations…by the way it sounds so damn clever and drones on and on even as you are lulled into a state of semi-consciousness…then burrows into your trusting brain like some insidious worm…and the pictures, the funny pictures, so small and nonthreatening, so you smile drowsily and give a small nod of appreciation, not realizing the subtle context and sub-text and hidden messages that are so obvious once you lean close to stare deeper into the pretty, colored pixels…Flee, flee, while there is still time…….

I just got the book!!!!!! Of course, I haven’t read much, but the Author’s note, which is good, and the introduction of the characters, the names of some of whom may cause a problem.
One, so far, of your characters has a name used in Robert Heinlein’s novelette, Methuselah’s children, is named Kreel Sarloo. I just don’t know if you need permission from his estate to use it. Maybe not. Readers might enjoy a sample of the sound of each character’s name.You could add it to each character’s photo/drawing. I already love the writing — as you know from your blog. I can’t wait to read the whole thing, starting this afternoon.

Um… Don’t forget that there are a few typos due to the publishers end, where sentences cut off and then start as a new, indented paragraph. It doesn’t wreck the story. There is one part where two words were removed, near the beginning. Just remember that the Professor does not work at the saloon.
And since I invented that name without knowing the other, I will just hope they believe me. But you know, there are more than one John or Steve out there too.

I was thinking of exactly that situation. Ordinary names are common property. But Sarloo, in a science fiction novel, might have crossed the line. Just checking. I don’t worry much about typos and editors’ changes — I am enjoying the book as much as I am enjoying your blog — maybe more, since I ♥ SciFi!

That is an excellent question. Unfortunately, I am a computer moron, and I have no idea.
LOL… it appears you haven’t added it to your Home page, lol. I will click the “Follow” button up on the top bar and see if it sends me updates 🙂
If you’d like to give it a try, you go to your Dashboard (type in your blog URL address and add /admin to get there). Then down the list you’ll see Appearance, click on that, then click on Widgets.
Under available Widgets you will see Follow Blog, click and hold and drag that over to the right side where it says Main Sidebar… choose the Email Subscription option. And save 🙂
What this does is allows people to enter their email address and get your blog in the email box every time you post a new blog.
I will try it, but the odds of me doing it right are not good.
