I will have photos and stories to share, but in the meantime, here is a topic to discuss: When the government fines big corporations for… I don’t know, a huge oil spill or dumping toxic waste into our groundwater system or selling us a product that kills us, do you believe that money actually comes from the guys who run the corporation? I mean, am I the only cynical bastard who thinks they just pass the cost back onto us, the consumers, and end up screwing us again?
As a follow up topic of discussion, why can’t we go back to public shaming, like putting these corporate ass hats in some humiliating situation and broadcasting it on TV? I won’t go so far as to suggest public whippings or having them be punched repeatedly in the privates by some huge guy wearing a leather executioner’s mask… but I really want to…

I don’t think CEO’s are generally punished in any way – although there are exceptions. I just read about a case against a coal company CEO who conspired to break safety regulations, and 29 miners died as a result. So the prosecution wants him jailed for an entire one year!
I call this progress… unfortunately…
hmmm…want to eh
I think so?

…ooo000ooo…
They always manage to dodge responsibility. I think the executives and boards should be jailed more often and the money taken from their personal net worth.instead, they cry hard times and get increases in wages and bonuses for navigating the company through hard times. assh**es
they can sell their blunders too
I have bought a few of those… I even had a blunder-bus…
