I know, I know, this is an obscene amount of posts for one day, but they are all tied together, so cut me some slack. I did have one night out with the boys from back in the day, while we were in my old stomping grounds.

I went out to a bar with my friend Andy…

And my friend Chris…

These two are my best… living… friends. We grew up together, so sooner or later you will learn all about them. But not right now.

We went out to see this guy…

That, my friends, is my friend, Bryan Kehoe. I have known him for many years. He was doing a little moonlighting with a band that did Z Z Top cover tunes. This band has since broken up, but do not worry about Bryan. He plays with M.I.R.V., regularly opening for Primus, and has his own band called The Kehoe Nation, which is big in the Bay Area. Look it up, if you are interested. They are on Google. And sooner or later you are going to learn more about Mr. Kehoe anyway, because he is part of my life…

You may or may not be surprised to learn that the four of us old farts closed this place down after the band was done with their set… but whatever…

I leave you with one last picture from this trip. Not too far from Grizzly Peak Blvd, and just a mile or two above my mom’s house, is Tilden park. This was yet another place where my high school cronies and I spent a lot of time up to no good. But it is a large and lovely park, and you should check it out if you are ever in the neighborhood. Behind lake Anza there is a hiking trail, and Mollie and I took a walk there one afternoon…
