Here is an item from my garage/art gallery…
I had a picture of Cherilyn and I, way back before we got married. It was taken some time in the 80’s. But I couldn’t leave well enough alone, so I used this photo to create a new piece of art…
I told you we all have a little barbarian inside us, struggling to break free.
I notice that I once again used some thick paint, not only for the blood, but to add rubies to our fashionable barbarian active wear. Little details can bring a picture to life. And if I do say so myself, we make a good looking pair of rogues… (Dang it, why did Sarah Palin have to ruin the word ‘rogue’ for me?)…

Couples that slay together, stay together
It’s the only way to see if you are going to hack it.
I deserved that
You are still a cut above the rest…
Moan
The first cut is the deepest…
Very cool pic and artwork!
Thanks.
Classic!
That is not a word aimed at me very often. Thanks.
Oh I see. She was the nice girl from the north side of town while you were the bad boy rocker trying to make friends with the guys from Metallica. I probably didn’t exist when that photo was taken. Your mustache is wiser than I am. Not that that says much.
I knew the guys, I didn’t try to make friends with them. Who knew they were going to be famous…
Not you. I hope you at least gave Hetfield a wedgy. He’d never be able to live that down.
I just called him Jaime…(pronounced ‘hi me’)
Yeah, 420! It’s a rugby shirt, very fashionable 30 years ago. They look so sweet and innocent, a wholesome, good looking, young couple.
I was never fashionable, not even 30 years ago.
I don’t think anybody was.
There were fashion victims then… and man, did they look silly!
Hush and don’t be contradictory. You kids were cute!
Oh, we still are…
Especially because you’ve endured a long time together.
I don’t use the word ‘endured’ exactly…
Not endured one another but the events that have transpired through that time, like when her grandparents died or the first time one of your little girls was sick through the night and you two were worried… .
We persevered…
Persevered is more accurate but enduring sounds more romantic, enduring love- lasting. Persevere is, I suppose, the better word but it brings to mind Sir Edmund Hillary climbing Everest.
I was thinking of enduring as in enduring hardship, but the long-lasting definition woks.
Hey that’s pretty good.
I used to have a shirt just like that.
It’s kind of apropos that you posted this on 4/20, because it kind of looks like you are rolling a joint in that picture.
I can neither confirm nor deny… but I was checking out your post at the same time you were looking at mine…
That sounds obscene.
Two ships that passed in the interwebs…
