The final final frontier…

(or);… To boldly go where no Chihuahua has gone before…

This one is for you, Geek…

Yes, that is indeed our friend Stimpy in a Star Trek uniform, zapping Ren the Klingon with a phaser, painted on a pink t-shirt. I love you, multimedia…  The scan is not that good, and no, that is not Ren’s boy-bits sticking out the side of his skeleton as he disintegrates. It is supposed to be his intestines. The shirt looks better in person.

Speaking of boldly going… (where no… small dog has gone before?)… I have boldly claimed that I do almost every type of art that there is. I do admit that I have not taken up marble statue carving… yet… and I do not paint pictures of nude women… (although if I get any volunteers to be a model, I’m not saying I might not give it a try… if my wife will let me)…

But once again I have thought to myself that it is unfair to those of you who are following me now to keep showing all my earliest and therefore less than stellar work while I keep you waiting for the good stuff.

So just to mix things up, I took an art-type that I haven’t shared with you yet, and I am starting with my best work in that medium and going backwards to my earlier attempts.

For a short while, oh, back twenty-something years ago, I started playing with t-shirt paints. I started a little business I called Art Co… (clever, I know)… I made maybe 100 dollars, but I had a lot of fun.

Are you beginning to get an idea of what it is like inside my twisted mind yet?

Hey look, a Ren and Stimpy Star Trek themed tshirt… It’s as if we were just talking about this. 😉

I loved Mr. Horse. To this day I will sometimes say, “No, sir. I didn’t like it.” Most people have no idea what I’m talking about.

  3. Dear pmao,
I know you say it’s his intestines but it does look very much like the other thing.
    Love Dotty xxx

  4. Whenever I watched Ren & Stimpy as a child it always scared the hell out of me, but I’ve grown to love its disgusting gross manic wondrousness in my more adult years.

    Also, sha-blams.

That “sha-blams” was the sound of YOU being nominated for a Kreativ Blogger award.

Great Gorilla of Manila! It’s the Kreativ Blogger Award!

My all time favourite animation! I lent my DVD’s to someone last month, they’re probably on ebay by now

    P.S. The nude woman thing.

Do it. For other than the obvious reasons. You’ll learn neat stuff.

Boris Vallejo is what kick started me into penciling nudes. The guy is un-freaking-believable with a pencil. His pencil stuff is harder to find as he mostly paints, but his realistic shading rivals, and at even times, bests M.C. Escher.

Ok, done polluting your blog now. Sorry.

    I love it.

    I’m a hardcore Ren & Stimpy … “appreciator.”

Every bent ear, every wrinkled, pouty chin, every lidded eyeball…John K. is one of my artistic HEROs.

He may be sick. He may be twisted, but there’s something in his art that is pure magic. A magic I cannot do. He drew a freaking SACK, and put a face on it and gave it a personality that cannot be forgotten. Of course, with a little help from Billy West.

I will pause frames and examine the art, and pore over the technique. The retro stuff and Mister Horse kill me.

blah, blah, blah, noise, noise, noise, sorry for cluttering up your page.
