About

This blog needs no explanation… or perhaps it defies explanation would be more accurate…either way, it is self-explanatory, and speaks for itself, in a disjointed and somewhat snide (or perhaps sarcastic would be a better word) manner, even as it contradicts itself and simultaneously takes itself too seriously… seriously…see what I mean? Do not fall for this blog…do not get sucked in by its lies and manipulations…by the way it sounds so damn clever and drones on and on even as you are lulled into a state of semi-consciousness…then burrows into your trusting brain like some insidious worm…and the pictures, the funny pictures, so small and nonthreatening, so you smile drowsily and give a small nod of appreciation, not realizing the subtle context and sub-text and hidden messages that are so obvious once you lean close to stare deeper into the pretty, colored pixels…Flee, flee, while there is still time…….

I’ve enjoyed your humour for a long time now but…duh…I only just realised you write sci-fi? Do you have a link to an ebook on Amazon?

  5. Sir, you wouldn’t happen to be Charley Boorman, would you? I had just recently noticed a similarity between you and him, and wondered if there was any relationship.

What a funny blog. Glad I’ve stumbled across you, all the way from sunny Australia. Keep smiling and keep enjoying the journey. Cheers.

Too late… I couldn’t look away, and now I’ve been pulled into this vortex, blog, or whatever it is. Why were you yelling flea, flea—I mean their bites aren’t so bad. Hey Art, I like what you’ve done to the place.

  17. Love it. Consider me caught in your slippery trap of weirdness…

    • No… I expected so much more of you… you have been consorting with the English… you should be way too sophisticated to fall for my tricks. Try channeling Stephen Fry.

      • Nah. I’m way too plebian for the likes of him. I smile too much and say things like”Wow!” and “That’s so cool!” My approach to life is entirely pedestrian.

        • Alrighty then, fellow pedestrian… let’s walk together for a while, shall we?

          • Sound good to me! (I can still admire S. Fry from the depths, though…) Do y’all get QI over there on BBC America? He’s awesome.

            • I have an English friend recording it for me because I haven’t found it here yet…. Hey, before you get too comfortable, or decide this place isn’t really for you… can you leave a comment on our post where we are breaking the record for the most comments? The link is at the top of the sidebar. There are over 35,000 comments so far. You will be a part of history. Also, if you ever get bored, you can go in there and reply to random comments that catch your eye. It is a great way to meet new blogger friends. I have the best commenters on the planet.

OK, you’re definitely out there. My kinda dude/writer. You’ve been here for a while and I have a question. How did you find me? I’m trying to figure out how WP bloggers find one another. Yeah, I popped over to Recommended and Fresh Pressed. But is there some sort of alert or sump’n that says Yo! Take a gander! I posted my first WP entry and out of the bloggy mist, there you were. Grateful as your comments made my feeble self feel happy and also allowed me to check out your terrific writing. I am now subscribed. I’d be crazy not to be. (I know as a fellow Bipolar this comment does not offend). You are not by WP tutor but any insight would be appreciated. Also interesting. And I suspect highly amusing. Cheers, bro.

    • Thanks. I am actually a computer idiot, but I found you because I often just scroll down the humor topic reader page. I comment on posts that catch my eye, or on new bloggers starting out, just to encourage them.
The other best way to meet people is to read all the comments on blogs you follow and reply to them. I am famous for having the best commenters in the world.
Please go to our post where we are trying to break the record for the most comments… the link is over at the top of my sidebar…. leave a comment, and then read some of the old ones. If one seems funny, you can click and reply to it. Most people will answer you, even if they made the comment weeks ago.

Excuse me, is this the About Page that everyone is linkng to? I am an officer for the Link Police (LP), and we have determined that there is an abnormal amount of activity in links here. It is starting to upset the balance that keeps the blog world stable. We are concerned there may be a tear in the space/time continuum imminent due to the destablilizing shear force being exerted by the number of links to this page.

This is your first warning and you are hereby required to write a blog post about this phenomenon. If the problem continues we may be forced to take stricter measures..

  23. I stumbled upon this strange land by way of your answer to my selfie question on Gibber Jabberin… I just had to see who this self[ie]-obsessed maniac was.

Can’t say that I regret it [yet].

  24. The WordPress Reader suggested I check out your blog because I follow some of your followers. Well, OK, my followers are pretty smart people (obviously). The moment I saw “Ripping out my guts for your entertainment” at the top of your pages, I knew I would sign up, and reading a few of your posts didn’t change my mind. I’m looking forward to following my followers who are following you.

  25. Alright, so I felt like after laughing at your remarks for so long at Bumblepuppies blog, it was about time I checked you out. Great stuff here to explore. And we’re “neighbors” too – –

And, so what if this is a generic message. The sincerity is there.

    Hi there,

I nominated you for one of those award things because I’m nice like that.
Yes, this is a generic message but when you visit my post and see how long it is, you won’t judge me.

So why don’t you hop on over and view the post. Being beer, or cake.

I NEVER READ THIS BEFORE!!!! How is that even possible?

Well, I have to say that I found it disturbing and intensely erotic. I don’t know what else to ask for in an About page.

  38. Typed in humor and landed here. You’re a funny, funny, clever, clever person 🙂
