Why I would make an awesome pirate… Part 2…

It has been suggested that I use Kickstarter to have you all chip in some cash so we can buy an actual pirate ship. Then we can set sail and rove the bounding main in search of booty… don’t turn that into something dirty…

a 1Shut up, Jack, I’m keeping the hat.

Now remember, crew. Don’t be stingy. We want to get a real pirate ship…

a 2We don’t want to have to row a little dinghy all the way to the Caribbean. You will get your doubloons back as soon as we loot a Wal-Mart or a Costco.

You know, I’ve re-thought my original suggestion, it just doesn’t feel right to do a regular Kickstarter campaign for a pirate ship. A real pirate would plunder other Kickstarter campaigns.

Aren’t Walmarts usually land-locked? We’d need some other type of transportation to get to Walmart. We’ll have to find some kind of water-based business to plunder.

  3. I’m thinking we need to develop a business plan and incorporate first.. that’s what real pirates do.

  4. I’m in. I think we’ll need a bigger boat…something to last longer than a three-hour cruise.

When we go, can I have a drink like yours with the little umbrella in it?

Okay, now that’s an idea I can get behind! Ever since watching Goonies for the first time I’ve wanted my own pirate ship to sail up and down the coast and go plundering… Wal-Mart and Costco seem like good choices.

I will sell all my pennies at once!
