My life as a supermodel took a few weird turns. I was very much in demand with the fantasy and science fiction crowd. But these fans have some peculiar interests. Because of the art I do, I found myself featured on the cover of a book that was all about people who draw pictures of themselves and their girlfriends in a fantasy theme, then cut the drawing out, ink and color the pictures, and mount it on wood…
I am not quite sure if that classifies as part of my modeling career, but it is a picture of my future wife and I, and it was on a book.
I also ended up in an art book that dealt with people who do artwork of themselves as pirates…
And there was another psychiatric study about people who identify a little too closely with Conan the barbarian. I don’t know why I end up being selected to do modeling for so many psychology studies, but a guy has to make a buck even when fashion season is on hold…
I did some of the more mainstream modeling for such magazines as The Star Trek Super Fan Club, which is a hugely succesful Japanese publication…
And I even did a poster for a Lord of the Rings themed renaissance fair in Bakersfield…
So what do you have to say about that, Hastywords? I mean, I know you like to dress up like a Hobbit in your spare time…
But does anybody offer to pay you 50 bucks?
