What if horses had become extinct sometime in the past? What would John Wayne westerns look like…?
Seriously, I can’t be the only person to ponder such things…
I mean, lots of animals went extinct…
Horses just got lucky, that’s all…
The funny thing is, it wouldn’t seem funny to us at all. We accept horses as the riding animal of choice only because that is what we are used to. If it had been some other animal, we would accept that just as easily…
Everything that you are used to in life you are only used to because you are familiar with it…
But cowboys on big tigers… that would be freekin awesome…
Just so you know, this is not my best Photoshop work. I put all this together in about 20 minutes, just to make a silly point. And I believe that I did.
So every now and then, just imagine a world where one thing was different, and how that would effect the entire world as you know it. You will not be sorry you did.
Once a year in a place near where I live they have an Ostrich Festival. Here, take a look:

Hope I don’t get spammed for that…
chariot races… sweet…
ostrich races, too. oh, and the little kids get hopped up on Indian fry bread covered in powdered sugar; then they get to ride sheep. it’s wild, man.
America…
F**K YEAH!
sigh
Comin’ again to save the muthaf’in day, yeah!

Dear pmao,
Oh, the comments are working again.

If I was sick and dying this would have cheered me up and cured my ovarian cysts.
I love it. My dad worked with John Wayne.
No way!
Yep, Roy Rogers, a few others I can’t think of now. He filmed part of “The Sound of Music” too.
That is so cool. Did you ever meet any of them?
No, I’m 30 my dad was 49 when he had me. Most of his movie stuff was done before he met my mom.
Isn’t that always the way. We are all interesting, until we become something else…
Lol, he’s still interesting.
I didn’t mean he wasn’t, but we all used to be more so… oh, never mind…
Dear pmao,
I’d like to see Cameron and Obama riding velociraptors.

Me too. But I can make it a reality.
Indian on giraffe – perfect!! Why hasn’t anyone thought of it before!
I almost went with dinosaurs… or large, fluffy bunnies…
You know, “Cowboys on Big Tigers” is the name of the third album by the under-appreciated prog-psych folk-rock band Barleycorn Dan and the Ancient Grains. I didn’t know you were a fan! Personally, I prefer their second album, “Babylonian Wheatgrass Moonrise,” but “Cowboys on Big Tigers” does feature the uncanny mini-banjo-flute work of Slappy Jo-Jo the Singsong Man.
I think those mushrooms are kicking in!
Didn’t they do the popular classic; ‘Rollin’ in the hay, if that ain’t the last straw’? I think it was from the ‘Grass Ain’t Always Greener” album…
They’d have imported camels, like Australia. Sorry to be so sensible. Funny post!
I never thought of that, but I didn’t try very hard.
Hilarious, I love it! I must get photoshop, I’m not doing the Queen in a bikini justice using Microsoft Paint.
can anyone really do the Queen justice?
Cowboys on tigers? Huzzah!
or comodo dragons
yes!
Cowboys and tigers? Inspired!
I love your art but I think Tigers would never allow a tasty treat to simply sit on their back.
